‘Dragon Ball Super’ News Update: Frieza’s Replacement Revealed
The recently-concluded episode of "Dragon Ball Super" showed a problematic Universe 7 as their teammate Majin Buu made his ritual sleep. The said habit would take two months to end and viewers are worried if Goku's Team will still be able to join the upcoming Tournament of Power. With that, Goku tried to urge Frieza to join their team despite Krillin and Android 18's blatant protest. However, it seems like the former emperor decided to form part of the Universe 4 instead of the Universe 7. What could have happened?
According to Celebeat, Universe 9 planted some plans of attacking Frieza in episode 95. The said plans were attempts to finish his life so as to keep Universe 7 from joining the tournament. However, Goku would not let the plans prevail and will fight together with the former emperor. Meanwhile, the God of Destruction from Universe 4, Quitela, is seemingly urging Frieza to join Universe 4. News told that the episode 96 of "Dragon Ball Super" will show Frieza joining the latter instead of his supposed team.
With that, Universe 7 will have to find another warrior to complete their team. Some believed that Yamcha will definitely replace Frieza in episode 96 entitle "Emergency Again! The Last Warrior is HIM?" Fans revealed that the availability of the former will be Goku's edge in convincing him to form part of the team.
Meanwhile, Yumcha's return is seemingly possible as Comic Book reported that the character's voice actor, Toru Furuya, hinted it in an interview. As Furuya stated, "While I can't say any details yet, today I got worn-out talking a lot as Yamcha, I have to do my best tomorrow too."
Other than that, a new rule was set in Dragon Ball Super "Tournament of Power". As it was suggested, any warrior who would fall off in the arena would be automatically out of the competition. With that, viewers can't wait to witness the upcoming episodes of the hit series.
