‘Arrow’ Season 6, Episode 1 Spoilers, Possible Airdate: Who Dies and Who Lives?

"Arrow" Season 6, Episode 1 will not air until fall, this year. Meanwhile, speculations, spoilers, and rumors are running rampant. Viewers are curious to find out the aftermath of Season 5 finale fallout and fate of the Team Arrow after the deadly explosion on Lian Yu. Read for further details.

"Arrow" Season 5 finale came to an end with a massive cliffhanger. Oliver Queen and his son William witnessed the massive explosion that may have taken the lives of everyone they loved and cared about.

When "Arrow" Season 6 premieres, it is expected to reveal who survived the explosion and who met his fate. Fans know that not everyone will come out of it alive.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "Arrow" showrunner talked about Season 6, Episode 1 and promises to resolve the big cliffhanger.

"We're going to go out on a big cliffhanger, so that part is definitely going to be helping us galvanize the premiere. Because we're closing such a big chapter, I think there are going to be some really new and exciting questions. What we're really trying to do is set up a new dynamic in Season 6," Mericle promised.

In addition, "Arrow" Season 6, Episode 1 is expected to feature another flashback. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim said that the premiere's flashback with taking viewers "back to the island." The flashback won't be tied to Oliver's past and could be one of the last flashbacks on the show. The EP assured that they won't "have a heavy flashback presence in the season going forward."

In the meantime, "Arrow" Season 6 is about family. At Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London, Stephen Amell revealed that the theme of Season 6 is family.

The network is yet to reveal the official airdate of "Arrow" Season 6. Considering previous seasons' schedule, Episode 1 is expected to air in the first week of October, this year. Spoiler and updates are expected soon.
