‘The Sims 4’ Updates: ‘Eco-Living’ Stuff Pack Objects Unveiled
The online survey participated by avid "The Sims 4" fans recently helped game developer Maxis to identify the list of objects that will be included in the said title's upcoming stuff pack. From an initial inventory of 68 proposed items, the gaming community chose 28 objects for "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" DLC.
"The Sims 4: Eco-Living" stuff pack marks a unique collaboration between Maxis and members of "The Sims 4" gaming community. Given how avid fans were involved in several aspects of the DLC's ongoing development process such as choosing the item design and object pieces, the said pack boasts of containing elements that players really want.
Recently, a member of "The Sims 4" team revealed the final list of objects chosen by avid fans. From over 65 concept art items, SimGuruGraham shared the top 28 objects that will be part of the upcoming "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" DLC which consisted mostly of decorative items and clutter objects, according to a blog post on the game's forums.
Gamers can expect to see the wicker love seat, couch and dining chair in "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" stuff pack. "The Sims 4" players who participated in the said poll also chose two rug designs, two rustic sinks, three planter boxes, the new round dining table, as well as a decorative wall shelf with hanging wicker baskets and others.
"The Sims 4" fans planning to create an in-game laundry room will soon be able to do so given the ironing board clutter piece and wall shelf pieces with rods for hangers. "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" DLC will also feature a new window bay object, a new door design, and the bare bulb light fixture. A snapshot of the said objects was also shared by SimGuruGraham on Twitter.
Meanwhile, SimGuruGraham mentioned "The Sims 4" team has had to adjust some of the final object pieces to ensure that the said DLC will contain a good mix of items. Apart from the top 28 pieces, the game developer also added one more piece, namely the ottoman, as a special treat. Moreover, the list of the final clothing items and accessories chosen by the gaming community will be unveiled at a later date.
In other news, "The Sims 4" players can look forward to three more online surveys to help finalize the development process of the upcoming "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" DLC. Gamers will soon participate in a "Feature Vote" to identify the said stuff pack's gameplay feature, while the last two online polls will have fans choosing its official icon and title, according to an announcement posted on the game's website.
"The Sims 4" survey to finalize the said DLC's gameplay feature is expected to happen from June 23 until June 26. "The Sims 4: Eco-Living" stuff pack is targeted for release sometime 2018 for PC and MAC.
