Riverdale' Season 2 News Update: Skeet Ulrich Now In Series Regular Status

‘Riverdale’ Season 2 Spoilers: Hiram Lodge To Shake Things Up In The New Season

It seems like fans would see more of FP Jones in "Riverdale" Season 2 as reports told that Skeet Ulrich already received the series regular status. With that, fans are extra excited as to how Ulrich would affect the life of every character on the show. Not just that, it is expected that the second installment would be way greater and bigger than the past seasons of the series.

According to Deadline, Skeet Ulrich will be permanently part of "Riverdale" beginning Season 2. He would reprise his role as FP, Jughead's father, who has been spotted in the first season frequently. Producers of the show are so excited with Skeet's status and admitted that the show would not be complete without him. Sarah Schecter, executive producer of the series, even admitted that Ulrich is really brilliant and stellar. Moreover, she also believed that there is more to expect from his character this season. As she clearly stated:

"We so loved having Skeet on Riverdale last year, that we couldn't imagine Riverdale without him. He's a stellar actor and we feel we have just scratched the surface of who FP is. We are excited to have Skeet continue on this journey and we can't wait for the audience to see what he is up to this year"

Moreover, it is expected that the second season of "Riverdale" would not just show the drama of each teenager in the cast but also the parent's drama every time. In fact, reports revealed that Hiram, Veronica's father, would also be added to the show.

Meanwhile, AV Club reported that the second season of "Riverdale" would be more intense that the previous installment. As Cole Sprouse admitted, the show would be more over the top and darker all at the same time. He also told that they would be consistent with the things that viewers loved during the first season.
