Hyoyeon Reveals Details On SNSD 10th Anniversary Comeback; 'Wannabe' Music Video Hits One Million Mark

SNSD’s designated dancing queen, Hyoyeon Kim kicked off her official solo debut this month. SM Entertainment released her latest digital single, “Wannabe” coupled with a catchy music video. While promoting for her new single, Hyoyeon shared details on SNSD’s awaited comeback.

Hyoyeon recently sat down for an interview to promote her new single, “Wannabe” and reveal how it was working on her official solo debut. “Wannabe” is considered as her official solo debut since “Mystery” was released as one of SM Entertainment Station’s music projects. Being dubbed as one of the well-known dancing queens in the South Korean entertainment industry, she revealed that she is happy about being a performance queen. However, she admitted that she is not satisfied with the broadcast stage yet for “Wannabe”, which has already reached more than 1.6 million viewers on YouTube since it was released.

Hyoyeon aims to deliver a perfect live performance where she does well in both singing and dancing. She admitted that she is still having difficulties with that and she is currently torn having to choose between singing well on live stages or giving a perfect dance performance. Putting this into the light, Hyoyeon mentions that she finds BoA amazing for being able to pull a live stage wherein both her vocals and choreography are powerful.

As a member of SNSD, otherwise known as Girls’ Generation, Hyoyeon was asked about the group’s comeback, which fans have been looking forward to. SNSD debuted in 2007 and this year marks their 10th anniversary. Hyoyeon revealed that the preparations for their group comeback are going well and since it’s an important anniversary, they are careful of which songs to include in their new album. Hyoyeon reminded fans that it has been a while since SNSD made an album. She guaranteed that it will be something good since the girls are being diligent with their comeback as a full team.
