OnePlus 3 is one of the smartphones from the Chinese company that never stops updating in the past two months. For the users that run either the OxygenOS or the HydrogenOS, the updates keep on coming almost every month on the said device.
OnePlus 3 Latest Update Focuses On Fixing Issues
The latest OnePlus 3 update is reportedly aimed at Chinese users that run HydrogenOS, while the new beta version of the ROM is focused on fixing issues, as mentioned in the changelog. Incidentally, the HydrogenOS beta number 16 is meant for the OnePlus 3, while number 7 is for OnePlus 3T. Meantime, the latest updates are said to resolve an issue related to the clock application that sometimes misses to ring the alarm, and also looks into an issue with the Tencent app, which reportedly crashes after the latest update.
OnePlus 3 users, meanwhile, should also expect another issue that is believed to be fixed by the update. According to reports, the black and white theme's display, as well as other issues with the contacts application, are set to be fixed. Meantime, the changelog also indicates that the update comes with system-level optimizations for improved stability, Phone Arena reported.
Open Beta 16 Releases For OnePlus 3
OnePlus 3 has received Open Beta 16 from its Chinese manufacturer for the handset users. On the other hand, OnePlus 3T users are set to get Open Beta 7. The beta updates bring similar features to both devices, including the changelog. Aside from bug fixes, the update will also fix certain app crashes and bug report feedback app among others.
For OnePlus 3 users, meanwhile, who are already on the previous Open Beta updates are also getting an OTA update. It is also important to note that users are required to backup all their data prior to installing the Open Beta to prevent losing those data on their smartphone, Tech2 reported.
