PSY’s ‘I LUV IT’ Wins This Weeks ‘Inkigayo’, Performances By VIXX, TWICE, Roy Kim & More

On Sunday's episode of South Korean Music program "Inkigayo' broadcasted by SBS, popular singer PSY got the first place with his track "I LUV IT". It was a super exciting episode where all the contestant gave incredible and energetic performances, however, in the end, PSY was the one who dominated the show.

As reported by All KPOP, PSY also got the runner's up place with his "New Face" while Suran's "Wine" came in the third position. The episode featured comeback remarkable performances which include VIXX's "Shangri-La", TWICE's "Signal", Roy Kim's "Suddenly", The East Light's "You're My Love", Urban Zakapa's "Alone" and Kim So Hee's debut song "Spotlight".

The show was also supported well by MC Black Pink's member Jisoo, NCT's Doyoung and special MC TWICE's Dahyun, who was filling in for the place of GOT7's Jinyoung, who couldn't make it to the show as he was in Japan for his band's Showcase Tour 2017 "MEET ME". In the end, PSY and Suran were competing with each other for the title, but PSY's "I LUV IT" came out the winner.

"I LUV IT" song is from PSY's latest album "4X2=8" was released on May 10 by YG Entertainment and looking by its current chart performance along with the craze it seems to be having among the fans, no wonder it was chosen as this week's winner in the 879th episode of "Inkigayo". The song is currently dominating 3 different charts, which are Melon, M-Ney, and Monkey3 while PSY's other song "New Face" also seems to be doing pretty well, reports Soompi.

Previously, the World star also won 1st place on May 18th episode of "M!Countdown" with his song "I LUV IT" after competing with WINNER. Even though PSY was absent from the broadcast, his song still took over WINNER's "Really Really" with 7843 score and made his first music show win since his comeback.
