HTC U11 News & Update: Latest Speculations Ahead of Its Release
HTC is ready to launch its latest smartphone HTC U11 on May 16, and the company has released yet another teaser, increasing the excitement among the users. The power packed device that contains a stylish metallic finish, offers a never seen before edge sense feature, which is the USP of the phone. The company might also release a dedicated edge sense app.
As reported by Gizbot, the Taiwan-based company wishes to end their past failures with its next flagship device that has some remarkable features, which include a stunning 5.5-inch QHD display, 4 GB or 6 GB RAM along with mammoth 64GB or 128 GB in-built memory processed with Snapdragon 835 chipset. The company released a teaser of HTC U11 a couple of weeks ago highlighting its squeezing edge sense feature where people were shown squeezing items like lemon, sponge, ketchup, bottle, breaks, etc. The video ended with the words "squeeze the brilliant U".
Another video shows a couple using HTC U11's touch-sensitive edge feature to navigate through the apps and capturing their picture together. According to the post by Tech First Post, the device will also come with a "360 real-life recording" feature, and although there isn't any explanations or video released that could tell how it is supposed to work, it can be assumed to be some kind of 360-degree video recording feature.
If the previous leaks are to be believed, the phone will come with a buttonless design. Other major speculations regarding the HTC U11 are it featuring a 12 MP rear camera with a 16 MP front camera, supposed to be running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The users can also expect HTC's very own virtual assistance 'Sense Companion', which was launched with 'HTC U Ultra'. As for the connectivity, it should support 4G LTE, WI-Fi, GPRS, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type C, supported by a mega 3,000 mAh battery.
