"Drinking Solo" Season 2 is still in question after its producing director's suicide. The person supposedly got lots of stress from physical and mental toil while in the production. To clear up things, a tvN source spoke about the shows' postponed broadcast.

According to Soompi, the "Drinking Solo" Season 2 rumors started since the suicide incident. Then, tVN didn't release any more statements about it after. Just now, a network source shared some insider's info about the delay.

"We have not confirmed anything about a second season, whether in production or suspension," the tvN source said about "Drinking Solo" Season 2. It's definitely clear that the assistant director's suicide still overshadows it.

Since "Drinking Solo" debut, it immediately became a household favorite. Before the incident, tvN massively implied that there would be the next season after it. Jin Jung Suk (Ha Seok-jin) and Park Ha-na (Park Ha-sun) surely captured everyone's attention with their story.

In a prior report by Koreaboo, the "Drinking Solo" suicide controversy was shed light. The article shared the personal note that the assistant director left for his family.

"The phrase 'exploitation of labor', which the staff on set would say half jokingly and half seriously, dug a hole in my heart. Of course, I am also just a worker, but at the very least, I shouldn't have to force as much work as possible out of the others." This is only half of the "Drinking Solo" producing director's suicide note.

On the latter half, the "Drinking Solo" assistant director also stated that he had to work 20 hours a day. He can only sleep 2-3 hours then go back immediately to continue on the program. The harsh comments about him supposedly also brought him to the decision.
