OnePlus 5 News: Leaked Rough Sketches Suggest Of Additional Features; Outperforms Galaxy S8 On Geekbench
Online leaksters are at it again as alleged schematics of the much rumored OnePlus 5 has been spotted online. The latest spy shots of the upcoming banner device suggest that the handset will be donning other features that were not previously seen on early leaks.
The series of rough sketches showcase OnePlus 5's alleged features and if the drafts are anything to go by, the back panel will feature a vertical dual camera setup. Moreover, contrary to early leaks, the upper portion of its back panel will don a ceramic plating whose design is similar to that of Google's Pixel, according to GSMArena.
Camera specs are still sketchy as previous reports stated that the OnePlus 5 will boast a 23-megapixel rear shooter that has been deemed by some as pretty unrealistic. Some techies debunked such feature suggesting that the device will be getting a couple of 12-megapixel snappers instead.
Its front panel also hinted that the OnePlus 5 will be getting dual selfie shooters making it a possible game changer if such leaks fit in the bag. A USB Type-C, 3.5 mm audio jack, and the penchant notification slider will still be seen in the yet to be revealed smartphone.
Nevertheless, it is still uncertain if the OnePlus 5 will bear an IP certification just like the top end handsets of late that has waterproofing attributes. Moreover, it is believed that it will sport a non-removable battery with a 3500-3600 mAh capacity, according to Android Central.
OnePlus 5's Geekbench score, on the other hand, is also making rounds online stating that it outperformed Samsung's Galaxy S8 on the benchmark site's multi-core test while it ranked third on its single core run.
The smartphone's release date is still undisclosed as of the moment. However, it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will be launched this summer. Check out a video about the so-called flagship killer here:
