Kim Ji Won, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Young To Star In Their Own Korean Drama; Get The Details Here

Kim Ji Won, Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Si Young are three of the Korean actresses that will be starring in their own TV series starting this month.

"Descendants of the Sun" alum Kim Ji Won will return to KBS2's for the network's upcoming drama, "Fight For My Way." In the series, Kim Ji Won will be playing the role of a department store employee working at the information desk. However, it is her biggest dream to become a new anchor. Kim Ji Won's character won't stop until turns her dream into reality.

"Fight For My Way" will premiere on KBS2 on May 22 at 11 p.m. and will air every Tuesday and Wednesday night.  Oh Yeon Seo will headline the upcoming SBS drama, "My Sassy Girl." Oh Yeon Seo just completed her stint in "Please Come Back, Ahjusshi." In "My Sassy Girl," she will be playing the role of a princess named Hye Myung. The character will eventually develop a feeling for Gyun Woo (Joo Won), also known as Joseon's national treasure.

"My Sassy Girl" will premiere on SBS on May 16 at 10 p.m. and will air on Mondays and Tuesdays. The series will replace the hit SBS show, "Whisper."

Meanwhile, Lee Si Young took a two-year hiatus from acting on television after her successful portrayal in the OCN drama, "My Beautiful Bride." This month, she will be starring in the MBC drama, "Lookout," where she will play the role of a former shooting player and current detective. She loses her daughter to a crime but will seek justice for her by finding the criminal responsible for her daughter's demise.

"Lookout" is slated for release on MBC on May 15 at 10 p.m. KST. The series will air every Monday and Tuesday and will be competing against "My Sassy Girl" from SBS.
