2017 Nokia Latest News & Update: Nokia 3, 5, 6, 3310 Launching In India Soon; Opens Contest For Nokia 3310 Artwork

Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and the rebirth of Nokia 3310 will be launched in India this coming June. However, it remains unclear if the four handsets will be launched all at the same time.

Nokia Devices Now On The Listing

The four Nokia devices were spotted on the listing of UK retailer Clove. Based on this, Nokia 6 has been listed at £229.99 or Rs 19,000, Nokia 5 at £189.99 or Rs 15,700, Nokia 3 for £149.99 or Rs 12,400 and Nokia 3310 for £59.99 or Rs 4,900. Pre-orders for the Nokia devices have also started.

Nokia handsets' global availability, meantime, is expected to be in late May or early June, including in areas where pre-ordering have started. This means that all Nokia handsets will be launched in India around the same time when they are made available in other global markets.

Meanwhile, Nokia's return has been a hot topic following the announcement regarding the three new Nokia android smartphones and the Nokia 3310 refresh during the MWC 2017 in February. The license to design and manufacture the Nokia branded devices was given to a Finnish company named HMD Global, India Today reported.

HMD Looks For Artists To Design The Nokia 3310

Nokia Mobile announced via Instagram that HMD Global is looking for artists, illustrators, and designers to make a creative artwork for Nokia 3310.  For those interested, artwork entries can be posted on Instagram using the hashtag #3310art for the chance to have their creations featured on the limited edition Nokia 3310.

Nokia 3310 creative artwork participants will also have to follow @NokiaMobile to get all the latest details about the competition, as the last day of submission of the designs is until May 10, Gadgets reported. Check out Nokia 3310 here:
