'The Winds Of Winter' News Update: Cliffhanger From 'A Dance Of Dragons' Revealed

Probably, "The Winds Of Winter" has been the most awaited novel to date. The book is authored by George R.R. Martin and is the sixth installment of the hit book series "A Song Of Ice and Fire". Sources told that the fans are already waiting for the release of the book, which is reportedly happening this year. Not just that, it was revealed the Neil Gaiman will be co-writing and editing the book, which is presumed to go out in the market before "Game of Thrones".

According to Celebeat, "The Winds Of Winter" might be released this June as Martin is just concluding his charity work before he goes back to writing. News revealed that the said author allegedly asked the help of the renowned writer, Neil Gaiman, to release the book as quick as possible. As of today, it was also reported that Gaiman is now the editor of the book so as to speed up its launch.

It was reported that "The Winds Winter" would answer all the cliffhangers that were made in the "A Dance with Dragons". It was remembered that the previous installment covered less story and almost left all the reading hanging with great numbers of the question. In an interview made with Martin, he stated:

"I'm going to open with the two big battles that I was building up to, the battle in the ice and the battle at Meereen-the battle of Slaver's Bay. And then take it from there,"

It was also reiterated that "The Winds of Winter" will concentrate on the battle between the seven clans. It is also noted that the book will feature the Others and would take fans in different places including the North.

With regards to the actual release date of the Winds of Winter, Christian Post revealed that nothing has ever been confirmed yet. Fans are hoping that the book would not disappoint them as they already waited for a long time before it was actually released.
