'The Flash' Update: Savitar's Plausible Identities Bared
Scarlet Speedster fans were given a treat with the return of CW's "The Flash." Its viewers were left with a cliffhanger of an ending though as the closing scene revealed who's behind the Savitar façade. The said tease made fans theorize as to who the mysterious baddie is.
In the recent episode of "The Flash dubbed "The Once and Future Flash," talks have gone rife as to who stepped out of the Savitar armor that made Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) quickly reconsider the villain's offer upon discovering his true identity. Among the possible identities of the speed demon, a couple rose to be the most plausible personas.
As Killer Frost wandered off to obviously meet up with Savitar, fans noticed the villainess giving that stare to the God of Motion as if she knew who the person is. This made faithfuls arrive at an assumption that the mystery man could be no other than Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm (Robbie Amell), Inverse reported.
Another feasible fan theory is that Savitar could be the Flash himself - Barry Allen. It was believed as such due to several occasions in the show where the antagonist seems to know the fate of some of the characters in the series. A notable instance was when he ominously mentioned Iris' grim fate.
Moreover, in one of "The Flash's" episodes - "Into The Speedforce," viewers might remember Savitar saying, "I'm the future, Flash" which was initially thought by fans that he is the end product of the speedsters including the Speed Force. Some fans, on the other hand, believe otherwise as they speculate that what he meant about it is that he is indeed the future version of Barry, Comicbook noted.
Meanwhile, fans are advised to chew on these with extra pinches of salt as these theories still lack sauce onto them. Watch a video about "The Flash" here:
