‘Running Man’ Star Kim Jong Kook, Sistar’s Hyolyn As Potential New Couple? Kpop Singer To Appear In SBS Show
"Running Man" cast member Kim Jong Kook may finally meet a potential love interest through the said variety program. Sistar's Hyolyn is set to appear in an upcoming episode as one of the guests during the members' global mission.
Over the years, countless Kpop idols and actresses joined the "Running Man" team to help them complete their weekly challenges. Many of these female celebrities were often paired up with the show's male stars that usually led to a round of teasing over a potential loveline forming between the single female guests and the bachelors Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Jong Kook.
In the recent "Running Man" episode, Lee Kwang Soo even mentioned how Kim Jong Kook likes women who have thick thighs and tanned skin. Aired on April 16, Sunday, Ji Suk Jin immediately mentioned Sistar's Hyolyn as the Turbo alum's ideal type. Despite the singer's efforts to clarify that he does not have an ideal type, his fellow cast members continued to tease him about creating a potential loveline with the Kpop idol.
However, Kim Jong Kook will soon get the chance to meet Sistar's Hyolyn in an upcoming "Running Man" episode. A representative from the SBS variety show confirmed the Kpop idol's guest appearance during the cast's global mission, All Kpop reported. Viewers can expect to see the songstress in the episode set for release on April 30.
In other news, "Running Man" recently welcomed its two new cast members namely actress Jun So Min and comedian Yang Se Chan. The two celebrities each left a good first impression during their pre-recording meeting with the production team along with the show's mainstays Song Ji Hyo, Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Jong Kook.
A representative from "Running Man" told local reporters that Jun So Min may have an innocent image but the actress has a dirty mind, Korean news outlet Chosun quoted the representative as saying. Meanwhile, Yang Se Chan displayed his determination to showcase his abilities and jokingly revealed how he plans to defeat everyone during the program's missions.
