'The Flash' Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh To Film 'TOM&GRANT' Short Comedy Film During Series Hiatus
"The Flash" Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh is all set to film their first team up in a short comedy film. The said indie project will happen during their show's off-season. It has already been reported that their superhero series is taking a short hiatus and its episode 19 will air on April 25.
According to a report from Movie Pilot, "The Flash" Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh reveals their plan on doing a short film. The said comedy project is titled as "Tom&Grant". However, here is the catch, both actors are looking for a total amount of $80,000. In order to meet the fund, they are currently doing some crowdfunding campaign.
As per the aforementioned site, "The Flash" Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh's short comedy film will feature them robbing a bank. However, since they are yet to have the enough budget for their film, the project is still not under an active development. Though the staffs for the planned movie are reportedly willing to work without pay, the said fund is still needed as it will be used for Craft services, post-production, and permits.
Meanwhile, IndieGoGo, where they started the crowdfunding campaign, released the official description for the project of actors, "The Flash" Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh. The short description showcases how hilarious their comedy film could be. Here's what in store for "Tom&Grant":
"TOM&GRANT is a HEIST. A bank job. And we want your company as we undergo the robbery. Here's the thing, though: we need greenbacks, moolah, cash money, $$. We need a l'il help fronting the capital to get the operation off the ground, see. After all, TOM&GRANT wouldn't be thinkin' about knocking off a bank if they had stacks of cash to make a short film."
On the other hand, as for "The Flash" Grant Gustin and Tom Cavanagh forthcoming episode on April 25, Barry Allen time travels to know who Savitar. This is to save the love of his life, Iris West. As per TV Maze's report, the latter will encounter his Team Flash friends who "have become very different people" after the showdown with Savitar.
"It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost continues."
