“Will and Grace” revival is already confirmed and NBC has decided to extend the new season with two more episodes, now totaling to twelve. It has been 10 years since its fans have seen two, except for the promotional scene they did for Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the presidency. And although Clinton’s campaign did not win, fans were delighted to see most of their favorite characters from the show.

Fortunately, the outpouring attention they have received is enough to convince NBC to officially bring the show back with a full new season according to Cinema Blend. And it looks like everything is going very well that the network decided to extend the season with additional episodes. Today, fans are just hoping the new season will be well-planned and not just return for the sake of reliving its best days before.

The new season expects the return of Debra messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sea Hayes according to TV Line. Other characters are also set to return but have not yet been announced by the showrunners. What is confirmed is the return of the original creators of the show, David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, and executive producer, James Burrows, which is a really good news.

“Will and Grace” is a comedy sitcom about two best friends Grace Adler, an interior designer, and Will Truman, a gay lawyer. The series first broadcasted in NBC in 1998 that went on until season 8 wherein the last episode aired on May 18, 2006. And within those years, the sitcom was one of the most popular television series with gay main characters.

As of today, no announcement yet has been made when the show will air on NBC but reports claim it will be sometime in the fall. Besides, the complete cast has not yet been decided so it's possible shooting has not even started yet for “Will and Grace” revival.
