Square-Enix has announced the release of update 3.1 for "Final Fantasy XIV" and the details of the content, according to iDigitalTimes.

The upcoming update for Heavensward will be big. The update has its own "Final Fantasy" style title and also a seven minute trailer. The trailer highlights all of the new features that the update will have to the world of Eorzea, according to sources.

The update is titled as "As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness." The new content will have new areas to explore, more dungeons to finish, more quests to solve which will be in the main storyline, and also a new raid, according to PCGamesN.

The raid is entirely new and it will be called Void Dark. The location will be on a giant airship which will have dark beasts. Void Dark is also a haunted ship that needs 24 people to conquer. The story is that the sky pirates are sending you to the location to fight off the dark magic which has infested the airship, according to sources.

You can also fight the Knights of the Round EX as a Primal fight. This battle will be harder than the Ultima Weapon on Hard mode and also Ravana EX. There is still no news on what level it will be but it is said that there will be some good weapons to loot, according to sources.

There are also other exploratory missions for a player to try out in the Diadem. Other contents that are included are the Gold Saucer's minion battles, Arboretum of Saint Mocianne, Pharos Sirius on hard mode, quests for the beast tribe, some new hair customizations, and many more, according to VG247.

"Final Fantasy XIV" update 3.1 will be released this coming Nov. 10, according to Siliconera.
