Samsung Galaxy Book Specs: The Strongest iPad, Microsoft Surface Pro Rival? Release Date Unrevealed
Samsung Galaxy Book is believed to be the best alternative for the much-awaited Microsoft Surface Pro. The South Korean tech giant claims that the new device has the ability to perform like a PC.
Samsung Galaxy Book Will Come In Two Variants With Faster Processors
The new Samsung Galaxy Book is expected to come in two variants, one is the 12-inch device that features the company's AMOLED screen and performs with Intel Core i5 processor, while the other one is a 10-inch device that runs with Core M3 processor, which is suitable for office and media consumption tasks.
The 12-inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Book is suitable for video and photo editing given its speed that reaches up to 3.1 GHz. Reports suggest that the new Samsung device will likely compete with iPad and the regular Surface Tablet, due to its accessibility in the market.
Meanwhile, Samsung reportedly made an almost similar device in 2016 via the 12-inch TabPro S. The device included the Super AMOLED screen that could not be seen on the Windows 10 device. However, since the device is powered by Intel Core M processor, which is known as a very slow processor, a lot of consumers are kept from buying the device, Windows Report reported.
Samsung Galaxy Book Is Featured In The Official Launch Film
The new Samsung Galaxy Book is included in the official launch film recently posted by the company, despite having no official release date yet. However, reports suggest that this could likely mean that the device may be hitting the stores soon.
Meantime, the official launch shows how the Samsung Galaxy Book is born in a simplified way. Based on this, the new device is made from an initial sheet of aluminum to the powerful mobile computer, which helps users in their everyday tasks, Phone Arena reported.
