According to the synopsis for "Quantico" Season 2, Episode 17, one of Alex's friend is framed for a homegrown terror attack. Now, the force turns to her for assistance.

There is a vote scheduled to happen in the house regarding the Muslim registry bill. However, the task force learns that the attack is not a mere coincidence.

In "Quantico" Season 2, Episode 17, the Collaborators are instilling fear to pass the Muslim registry bill in the House. The task force rushes to the Hill to deal with the situation by turning the votes. Elsewhere, Alex and Owen go after an assassin in the brand new episode of the show.
