'Rocket League' 'Fate Of The Furious' Collaboration DLC Revealed; Dom's Ride To Grace The Game

Game developer Psyonix is at it again as they recently announced their team up with Universal Pictures and Dodge through it latest "Fate of the Furious" downloadable content for their vehicle soccer title "Rocket League." The new content has brought in a very familiar ride straight from Dom's garage.

Dubbed as the Ice Charger, the customized nuclear submarine-fighting muscle car from the upcoming "Fate of the Furious" film will be gracing the "Rocket League" on April 4 which is exactly 10 days before it speeds off to movie houses. The inbound game content will also stash in exclusive wheelsets and car decals as this was the usual penchant in early "Fast" film installments. Such stick on include Rakugaki, Rally, CCCXL, Flames, Crazy Sandwich, and Clean Cut, according to Gamespot. Players can have all these for just $2 which quite a steal and it is Dom's Dodge, to say the least.

This is not the first that Psyonix made ties with other companies. In fact, the most recent were when they rolled out a "Back to the Future" game segment where players got the chance to play "Rocket League" using Doc Brown's time traveling clunker - the DeLorean. About a year prior to such, the Dark Knight's Batmobile from 2016's "Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice" was also featured by the title, Polygon reported.

Meanwhile, attendees at this year's CinemaCon were given a sneak peek of the upcoming film as actor Vin Diesel revealed that the late Paul Walker wanted to do "Fate of the Furious." Diesel who plays as Dominic Toretto in the latest sequel said that Walker's eagerness to do the eighth film is their main reason why they went on to do it albeit Walker's absence.
