‘Descendants Of The Sun’ Actor Kim Min Suk Reveals Drama Project That He Regrets Doing

Kim Min Suk is considered one of South Korea's talented young actors whose acting prowess have impressed many viewers. However, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor revealed that there was one drama project that hated given his then newbie acting skills.

Some Kdrama fanatics may not be familiar with Kim Min Suk since he has only portrayed supporting roles in dramas such as "Descendants of the Sun," "Doctors," and the recently concluded series "Defendant." Despite his non-lead characters, the young actor has made an impression given his emotional performances.

Kim Min Suk's popularity continued to grow as evidenced by the young star's various appearances in variety shows such as "Celebrity Bromance," "Running Man," and the survival reality series "Law of the Jungle." Recently, the actor shared his thoughts about his career in an interview with Korean news outlet Xports News.

The "Descendants of the Sun" alum indicated that he has achieved a lot since his rookie days. When asked if he watched some of his earlier productions, Kim Min Suk admitted that he refrained from looking at videos that featured his debut days. Watching his first drama project "Shut Up Flower Boy Band" would even make him cringe given the way that he acted at that time.

It appears that Kim Min Suk regretted the careless way that he tackled his role for the said drama. Despite expressing his remorse over his acting in "Shut Up Flower Boy Band," he confessed that it made him want to revisit his debut days to reminisce over the moments when he passionately shared his interest in acting and pursued projects with vigor.

In other news, Kim Min Suk wowed his "Law of the Jungle" teammates when he displayed his sashimi knife skills. The actor deftly handled the fish that his team caught where he proceeded to clean the fish, debone it and cut off thin sashimi slices, All Kpop reported. He then revealed that he once worked at a sushi restaurant where he learned how to handle a knife.

Apart from "Law of the Jungle," Kim Min Suk also starred in the SBS suspense legal drama "Defendant" which recently aired its final episode. He portrayed the prisoner Sung Gyu in the said drama, who became key in Jung Woo's (Ji Sung) search for his daughter.
