The official synopsis of "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8 points out that Fred and his crew are set to start the construction. But, Fred loses his men and it puts his livelihood in danger. Archie decides to help his dad and ropes in his friends to help him with the project.

But, one of Archie's friends is attacked and they later are stuck in Southside Serpent Territory. Elsewhere, in "Riverdale" Season 1, Episode 8, Betty and Veronica plan to throw Polly a baby shower to lighten her mood. However, Polly does not welcome the idea as she knows what others feel.

In other "Riverdale" news, the show's boss Aguirre-Sacasa spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the arrival of Sabrina in this season.

"I feel like I can say two things: One is, we are constantly talking about Sabrina and how to update her character and introduce her to the TV audiences, whether it's part of the Riverdale universe or it's alongside the Riverdale universe," Sacasa said.

Sacasa added that sooner rather than later, they will have something related to Sabrina. The boss also noted that in "Riverdale" Season 1 finale there will be an appearance of a character from the mythology of Archie that has a "darker origin and backstory."
