BTS are receiving death threats yet again via Twitter where a group of seeming anti-fans is posting threatening messages targeted towards Korean boy group member, Jimin. BTS death threats came into the limelight when ARMY first brought them into the attention of the BTS group, Big Hit Entertainment, and the rest of the media.
A.R.M.Y. the official BTS fan club started trending the hashtag "#ArmysWillProtectJimin" on its Twitter wall in order to warn the group about the spreading BTS death threats. But, it seems like the seemingly serious matter has been a trending pun these days as photo-shopped images are generating from various users spreading false rumors about the group. Due to such false truths, there have been various consequences as well.
A Twitter user named "Selja" also called "@AinsleyPaisley" has been reportedly suspended from Twitter for spreading what seems to be false rumors about the BTS. According to reports, "Selja" was allegedly spreading false rumors noting that BTS assaulted a Brazilian fan sexually. Koreaboo reported of these rumors to be completely absurd claiming that these were only spread to defame the popular boy group.
Another user named "AntiBTSAnti" was reportedly sending death threats to the BTS members. This was verified through the cache details of the account which showed that the account did send BTS death threats, especially focused towards Jimin.
What is more surprising is the fact that the user even stated that "Selja" was an accomplice. But, there is no actual confirmation about this for now. According to the reports, "AntiBTSAnti" might even be mentioning the latter's name just to put blame on her.
Even though, no actual BTS death threats have been verified, yet the members and the various concerts are notified of this. Various departments and centers like Honda Center, Anheim Police Department, and LAPD have all been warned about this.
