Samsung Galaxy S6 Update: Android 7.0 Nougat Update Now Available

Samsung Galaxy S6 users have been waiting to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update for quite some time now. Previously it was reported that the Galaxy S6 users will be able to get the updated version of Android at the end of February, but the company has delayed it for some quality test. Recently a number of Samsung Galaxy S6 users have received the latest Android update.

In late February, Samsung has reported that it would make the update as earliest as possible after it was done with the review. Today, Samsung has started rolling out Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. The users of Samsung Galaxy S6 edge have confirmed that the Android 7.0 Nougat is now being rolled out in their devices.

One of the Samsung Galaxy S6 users has reported that the Android 7.0 Nougat is being rolled out by Vodafone in the US and firmware version G925FXXU5EQBG has been released for his handset. The users of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in Germany, Switzerland, and Italy have started receiving the latest update of the firmware.

With this update, it seems that the operating system update for Samsung Galaxy S6 users is limited to European countries. The users of Galaxy S6 may have to wait till the update goes live across the global market. It is surely going to enhance the experience of Samsung Galaxy S6 users, which is much clean than what it was before.

The latest Android 7.0 Nougat will bring numerous improvements in the new interface. The company is going to implement Samsung Cloud which is cloud storage backup feature. This new feature allows users free storage up to 15GB.
