The Japanese record label Gemmatika announced that the final album of late singer-songwriter Origa has been released as two separate albums, one will chronicle all her best works while the other will feature previously unreleased tracks. It was officially out Wednesday, Oct. 21 according to Anime News Network.

The first of Origa's final album is titled "all about ORIGA (1994-2014)" which serves as her greatest hits compilation, containing 26 of her best tracks in 2-disc set. Nineteen of them have been previously released by Toshiba-EMI and her current label Gemmatika, which includes two songs previously available for online streaming while the remaining 7 tracks are collaboration songs where she participated as a vocalist.

Meanwhile, Origa's other final album is titled "Lost and Found," where it showcases her final work as a singer, which will also be presented in a 2-disc set titled "Amon Ra" and "The Annulet." The former contains 9 all-original songs which she worked on two years ago, mostly composed by her.

"The annulet," on the other hand, is an 8-track disc with 5 of them being her versions of Russian folk songs. The remaining 3 songs are bonus tracks each composed by HIMEKAMI, Watusi of COLDFEET and SUGIZO of Luna Sea, and Ryo Kunihiko.

This release has been included immediately upon announcement of her sudden death last January 17 due to heart failure. At the time of her death, she has completed her studio work for her supposedly new album during her stay in Japan. Gemmatika promised fans to release her final work this year in accordance to her good faith as stated on the English version of the singer's website.

Russian-born Origa - whose real name is Olga Vital'evna Yakoleva - was born on Oct. 12, 1970. She is best known for her theme songs from "Ghost in the Shell" anime series, which made her famous outside Japan. She also provided her vocals for theme songs from "Fantastic Children" and "Princess Arete."

She first came to Japan in 1991 for a homestay program and made her debut as a "Gaijin" (foreign) singer in 1994 and has worked in the country ever since. Origa passed away in January 17 this year in Tokyo due to heart failure. She was 44 years old.
