"Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" plot rumors have been flooding the web since "The Force Awakens" was shown in 2015. New plot theories are now suggesting that the next film installment will showcase a disenchanted Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) for believing that the Jedi path that he followed over the years had made him miserable.

Fans are still left wondering as to who among the rebel heroes is the real Jedi. However, the one that is most likely to fit the film's titular role could be having second thoughts about the Force and everything about the mentioned Order.

If such are anything to go by, it is said that Luke will be having a "crisis of faith" within him after his former Jedi apprentice - Kylo Ren/Ben Solo (Adam Driver) left him for the Dark Side. The doubt that is slowly creeping inside him will further build up as the Jedi artifacts that he unearthed at the course of his Jedi life were either riddled with lies or have veered away from how it is supposed to be used. As a result, Luke could be losing faith with the teachings of both Obi-Wan and Yoda including his father - back when he still carries the name Anakin, Express reported.

Meanwhile, it is also believed that both "The Last Jedi" and "Star Wars Episode IX" will feature three planets that also had key roles in both prequel and original film trilogies. However, the planets which include Endor, Tattooine, and Darth Vader's home planet - Mustafar could be shown as "forcebacks" within the aforementioned films, MovieWeb has learned.

Another scene that is rumored to take place in "The Last Jedi" is an epic lightsaber skirmish among Luke, Rey (Daisy Ridley), Kylo Ren, and Vorn whom many speculate to be portrayed by Benicio del Toro. The showdown between these two forces is believed to befall inside Snoke's (Sith No One Knew Existed?) rumored containment unit known as the Texel that is situated in the planet Ragnacta.

"Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" will be released on December 15. Watch a video about Snoke here:
