‘Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi’ Release Date: Yoda’s Possible Return & Other Old Saga’s Characters

Yoda might return in the "Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi" as a force ghost.

Yoda the first Jedi might return on the upcoming "Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi." On the recent interview with Frank Oz, the man behind the character of Yoda, the idea of the possible return of the old saga character was discussed. He was asked about this and his answer raises more questions than it does provide answers.

As Frank Oz said, he feels like he's a prisoner of war, and he can only give her name, rank and serial number. To be true to the people who asked him, and they are kind of his family, he has to say he been asked not to talk about it. he loves Yoda. he would be happy to talk to about it at the time they let him. He explain a lot when he was asked about Yoda's possible return in the "Star Wars Episode 8: The Las Jedi."

Yoda is a powerful Jedi that his spirit remains alive through the power of the force. In this case, appearing in the "Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi" is still possible by reprising his role as a force ghost, Slashfilm noted. In fact, on the last part of the saga's episode 6, we see the force spirit of the three powerful Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Yoda.

Some theories also claim that other old characters, aside from Yoda, might return in the "Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi." According to Popsugar report, there are predictions that Mace Windu, Jar Jar Binks, and Darth Maul could possibly appear in the movie.

For now, these theories are out of confirmation from the filmmaker, however, fans are still hoping to see some of these characters in the "Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi." The movie will be released in December 2017 as the second installment of the third trilogy.
