HTC U Ultra Review

Recently, HTC just unveiled the new HTC U series including two new variants. The HTC U series includes flagship of U Ultra and more powerful U play.

The Taiwanese company has created something innovative with the U series by ditching their signature aluminum unibody design. HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play both the devices are having glossy all glass body which is built by using an innovative approach by the company. The company calls this innovation as Liquid Surface construction. This innovative technique is created to provide the glossy and shiny appearance of the devices.

Besides the liquid surface construction which offers a shiny and glossy appearance of HTC U Ultra, the company even introduced a new dual display for flexibility. The dual display technology enables users to access their favorite apps and contacts easily and effortlessly. The dual display can also be modified to show notifications and reminders. It's fun for the user as they will now have an additional space to check out their notification.

The HTC U Ultra has a mini display which comes under the 160X1040 resolution. It will also have a 5.7-inch primary LCD Screen with a resolution of 2560X1440. The phones will sport a Snapdragon 821 processor, 64GB storage, and 4GB of RAM. In addition to this, the device is also having a slightly underwhelming 3,000mAh battery. The device features a traditional home button with a fingerprint scanner. It also supports a 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilization.

Much like HTC bolt, the HTC U Ultra ditches headphone jack in a favor or unified USB-C port. But, the phone provides HTC's Ultrapixel sensor along with an impressive 16 MP front camera. The HTC U series resembles HTC Bolt which ditches the standard headphone jack. But the company managed to keep the flagship "BoomSound" speaker technology. Both the devices run on Android Nougat 7.0 and are available for pre-orders on HTC website.
