The year 2017 is still a long time for now, however the cast for "Power Rangers" movie reboot is completing so fast. Following the announcement of Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, the actor for Blue Ranger has been revealed soon after according to a report from Screen Rant.

Young actor RJ Cyler will join the cast of "Power Rangers" movie reboot to play the role of Billy Cranston, aka the Blue Ranger. He is well-known for his breakout role in this year's comedy-drama film "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl," where it received a standing ovation at Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award.

Blue Ranger was originally played by actor David Yost. His character has been described as a "whip-smart and sweet, yet slight and awkward." He finds it hard to interact socially which leaves him not having many friends and instantly gravitates towards Jason aka Red Ranger.

20-year-old RJ Cyler was raised in Florida. He got his acting debut in 2013 short film "Second Chances," which tells the story of a college student who finds out the meaning of yolo through interesting classes.  He is also set to appear in the movie "War Machine" and TV series "Vice Principals," with both titles set for next year release according to his profile in IMDB.

The upcoming "Power Rangers" reboot was originally scheduled for July 22, 2016 release, however it was pushed back into Jan. 13, 2017. There are no reasons explaining the re-schedule; however it could be more likely attributed to make way for other upcoming blockbusters according to an earlier report from Cheat Sheet.

The original 2016 release date coincide with premiere of "Ghostbusters" reboot and the adventure film "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthus," with the latter directed by Guy Ritchie and features an all-star ensemble casting.

Now that the first four rangers have been revealed, the actress for Yellow Ranger is now highly anticipated to join the cast of "Power Rangers" movie reboot. Trini, aka Yellow Ranger, was originally played by the late Trini Kwan.
