Samsung Galaxy S8 Latest News: Here’s How It’ll Outperform (Rumored) iPhone 8 Specs On March 29; Galaxy Tab S3 Similar To S7?
Samsung Galaxy S8 is slated to outperform the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 in the market with a combination of an edge-to-edge OLED display sans a physical home button. It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch in the NYC on March 29. In the meantime, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is also set to launch in 2017.
Furthermore, a photo reportedly showing the official product render of the Samsung Galaxy S8 was also shared by the well-known leak source Evan Blass. The renders showcased the Samsung Galaxy S8 with a 12MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera with sensors at the very top of the phone. Note that the Samsung Galaxy S8 may launch with physical buttons on the sides for sleep or wake and volume functions, Apple Insider reported.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is also believed to roll out with a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the contrary, Apple and other smartphone makers have been launching jackless phones in lieu of Bluetooth and data port audio connections like Lighting and USB-C. Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S8 may also include USB-C and iris scanning.
Leaked reports further claim that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would boast a 5.8-inch AMOLED screen while the bigger Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus variant may sport a 6.2 inch Quad HD plus display with 3200x1800 pixels. In contrast, the iPhone 7 Plus only features a 5.5-inch 1080p panel.
Meanwhile, a full hands-on of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 reveal that the device features a 9.7-inch QXGA Super AMOLED display with 4GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 820 CPU. Furthermore, the device also packs a 6,000mAh battery with a 13MP and 5MP front facing cameras. The tablet also comes with an Android 7.0 with Samsung Touchwiz OS built-in.
