After the world war, Korea was divided into two parts, North Korea and South Korea. The countries even have to suffer the defeat of its colonizer Japan during the World War 2. The 38th parallel, which demarcates North Korea and South Korea, is among the world's most militarized zones, as per ASB CBN news.
