Lee Min Ho Finally Speaks Up About Military Enlistment & Confirms Being Away For Two Years But Tells Fans To Wait
Lee Min Ho is famous for his character as Heo Joon Jae in the fictional drama "The Legend Of The Blue Sea." Recently, the South Korean actor has chosen to celebrate his 10 years in the entertainment industry with his fans.
Lee Min Ho finally spoke about his military enlistment during his two-day meet-and-greet event with his fans last week. According to reports, the "Boys Over Flowers" star talked about this on the second day of the event, confirming previous reports that he will be away for two years, and asked the fans to wait for his return.
The two-day event was organized by Lee for his as his way of thanking them for the love and support over this decade-long career in the industry. Reports indicate that more than 6,000 fans from all over the world, including Japan and Taiwan, flocked to the Grand Peace Hall in Kyung Hee University, Seoul, where the event was held. Lee's new single album "The Originality of Lee Min Ho" special release started the event, and later followed by a live interaction with his fans, International Business Times reported.
Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho showed kindness by his effort to help a fan who tripped over and dropped on the floor during the South Korean star's arrival at a Thai airport. Reports indicate that Lee stopped and wanted to help the poor fan, but was kept by his security team from doing so.
Lee Min Ho was not able to help the fan because his security team kept moving him forward, the actor still continued to stare at the fan, who fell over. Some witnesses narrated that Lee Min Ho only moved forward as soon as he saw that the fan was alright, and accepted a flower from another fan as he was waving goodbye.
