Hyunyoung and Alex Chu Of Clazziquai Confirmed Breakup After 16 Months Of Dating

Recently, Kpop fans were devastated after reports of a breakup between Hyunyoung and Clazziquai's Alex surfaced online. Apparently, the two have very busy schedules that it caused conflict in their relationship. However, some reports claim that the two remain good friends despite the breakup.

 Hyunyoung and Clazziquai's Alex had been dating since last year, however, after 16 months of dating, the two decided to end their relationship. Apparently, the two have schedules that are becoming busier, thus, leaving them nothing but conflicts over their relationship. According to Koreaboo, it is the ex-couple's mutual decision, thus, making them agree to still become good friends.

Alex and Hyunyoung have officially announced their relationship in October 2015. This gained a lot of attention, and even criticisms, especially with the fact that they have a large age gap of 12 years. A representative from Mama Creative has released a statement, saying: "After confirming with Hyunyoung herself, She has broken up with Alex and they will continue to have a good junior-senior relationship within the entertainment industry."

Mama Creative is Hyunyoung's company. The former Rainbow member is looking forward for a career both in singing and acting. Her previous group was disbanded in 2016 after 7 years of being together. The members, who are consist of Kim Jaekyung, Go Woori, Kim Jisook, Noel, Oh Seungah, Jung Yoonhye, and Jo Hyunyoung, have decided to not renew their contract and go their separate ways.
The agency revealed that Rainbow's contract will end on Nov. 12, 2016, however, DSP Media has confirmed that the K-Pop girl group will not be renewing their contract anymore. However, as for Hyunyoung, she was able to survive the industry and has even participated in several Korean dramas such as "Rude Miss Young-Ae Season 14" and "Boarding House 24th Street'.

For Alex, he will continue with Clazziquai despite the recent controversy facing them. Alex also has his acting career and he was most recognized for his role in "Pasta" as Kim San.
