As "Grimm" heads to its final chapter, some of the beloved characters of the NBC supernatural series will find new allies in unexpected places. With Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) out of her element given the mysterious effect of the healing stick, the said Hexenbiest will form an unexpected connection with Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind's (Claire Coffee) young yet powerful daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd).

When "Grimm" Season 6 premiered in early January, the NBC series featured a storyline that displayed a different yet familiar side to the usually emotionless Eve. As an adept fighter trained by Hadrian Wall, Eve took over Juliette's (Tulloch) body and controlled her massive powers as a Hexenbiest.

However, given the mysterious effect of the healing stick, Eve's abilities started to change. Despite discovering the hidden symbols in the said artifact's cloth covering and trying to unlock its secrets, the usually powerful character has been beset with visions of the death grip void and other challenges.

With Eve showing more signs of Juliette's human reactions, the said Hexenbiest will form a bond with the young Diana. Tulloch told TVLine the two characters will have an "intimate connection" that will surprise many viewers.

It appears that given Diana's powers and her ability to also see the strange symbols on the cloth, the two will form an "unexpected" relationship, according to the actress. Signs of the two characters' connection was even featured in "Grimm" Season 6 episode 7 that aired on Feb. 17.

In the said episode, Diana conveyed her concern for Eve as the former looked troubled while lying down on the bed. Titled "Blind Love," Eve even conveyed her sadness at having lost her former beau Nick (David Giuntoli) to Adalind.

Meanwhile, Juliette may appear to be regaining control of her body but Eve will not allow her former self to return. In an earlier interview with TV Guide, Tulloch commented that Eve is not looking forward to having Juliette complicate her life, as well as Nick and Adalind's relationship.

Given Eve's mission to eradicate Black Claw, the said character will try her best to keep her Juliette-like emotions bottled up so that she can complete her job, according to the actress. Tulloch also teased that the love triangle between Eve, Nick and Adalind will be resolved in a surprising and satisfying manner.

"Once Upon a Time" airs every Friday on NBC.
