On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is reportedly packing slightly more battery than last year's model. While Xiaomi is yet to confirm the new smartphone under the Redmi Pro series, latest leaks spark rumors that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 may launch this year. Originally posted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, the serial leakster @Kjuma posted image renders of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 along with the pricing details and other specs of the phone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 may ditch the dual-cam setup and roll out with a single rear panel 12MP shooter, Phone Radar reported. Furthermore, the leaks also claim that the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 would roll out with a Sony IMX362 sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus capabilities.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 may also launch with a Snapdragon 660 processor. In addition, the battery may feature a slight boost to 4,500mAh battery from last year's 4,050mAh. Moreover, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 may launch with two variants, a high-end 6GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage at $260 and a cheaper 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal storage at $230.

In other news, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 makers also delivered three variants of the Redmi Note 4 which quickly ran out of stock on the first sale via Mi.com. Note that the Redmi Note 4 comes cheapest with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage for Rs. 9,999 while a 3GB RAM/32GB costs Rs. 10,999. The most expensive variant is the 4GB RAM/64GB at Rs. 12,999.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 color options are yet to be revealed while the Note 4 was launched in Silver, Gold, and Grey. Furthermore, a new Matte Black color variant is expected to launch soon.
