‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Release Date Announced; ‘The Punisher’ Actor Makes Statement!
The "Daredevil" Season 2 release date has already been announced. Another Marvel character, "The Punisher," will be making an appearance.
The hit Marvel Netflix series "Daredevil" has announced the release date of its season 2, which is on April 2016. Fans will see different characters showing up in the series like "The Punisher" and "Elektra", according to The Gospel Herald.
Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock, the blind attorney by day and the "Daredevil" at night. There was a poster revealed for the season 2 which was made by Marvel's artist Joe Quesada. The poster was showcased at the New York Comic Con in black-red-white and black and white versions. This hinted the fans that "The Punisher" will be coming to Hell's Kitchen, according to Realty Today.
Actor Jon Bernthal will be portraying Frank Castle who is also known as "The Punisher" which fans are familiar with. The actor is working hard to make this iconic comic book character come to life, according to CrossMap. Frank Castle will be more impulsive and will bring justice to anyone who deserves it in violent ways.
"People in law enforcement and the military - this is a character who resonates really strongly [to them]," said Bernthal. "I know a lot of people really want us to get this right, and all I can say is the people around me are really wonderful, and I'm just trying to keep up with them."
Bernthal is known for some TV series like his role as Shane Walsh on AMC's "The Walking Dead" and as Joe Teague on TNT's "Mob City". He has some roles too in the film industry like "Fury" at 2014 and "The Wolf of Wall Street" at 2013.
The "Daredevil" season 2 release date is on April 2016 on Netflix. Season 2 promises more action scenes, drama, and romance, according to sources.
