Avid Gong Yoo fans might soon see the "Goblin" star in a special meet-and-greet event. Given the popularity of the said tvN fantasy drama, the South Korean actor was recently offered to go on a multi-country fan meeting tour.

Gong has been one of South Korea's famous male celebrities whose popularity extended beyond Asia. After starring in the hit tvN drama "Goblin," the actor became even more famous with various brands inviting the "Train to Busan" star to be their endorsement model.

It appears that event organizers have also been trying to invite the actor to hold fan meeting tours. Gong's agency Management SOOP recently revealed that the "Coffee Prince" star received several offers to conduct meet-and-greet events in 15 countries, Korea Herald reported.

If negotiations go well, avid fans from countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and even the U.S. may get the chance to see Gong in a special fan event. Organizers have even laid out an attractive offer for Gong that includes various perks, according to Management SOOP.

At this point, it is still unclear if the actor already accepted some of the fan meeting tour offers. Management SOOP did not divulge any information about the said event although the agency highlighted that Gong might soon participate in international promotions and special events in the latter part of March.

Meanwhile, Gong's "Goblin" co-star Lee Dong Wook is also set to meet his Asian fans in a series of special events. Tickets for Lee's upcoming Seoul fan meeting, dubbed "4 My Dear," sold out shortly after online sales were opened.

However, it appears that some unscrupulous individuals tried to take advantage of the high demand for tickets. Recently, Lee warned fans to purchase fan meeting tickets from the event's official Interpark ticketing office to avoid potential problems, All Kpop reported.

The actor's agency also announced the ongoing illegal ticket sales activities for the said event and requested fans to refrain from buying illegally sold tickets. The agency stated, "On the day of the fan meeting, your entry may not be permitted if your ticket is illegal or premium."

Lee's Seoul fan meeting will be held on March 12.
