Chris Evans And Jenny Slate Breaks It Off After Dating For About Nine Months

Marvel's Captain America played by actor Chris Evans might not have it all this time, as he is reportedly broken up already with girlfriend Jenny Slate. The two have been dating for almost a few months before calling it quits just recently.

It can be recalled that Chris Evans and Jenny Slate met while on the set of the film entitled "Gifted" back in 2015. However, they didn't start dating until 2016 after Slate officially separated from her husband of three years, Dean Fleischer-Camp. As evident as it is now, the relationship didn't last long since they broke it off already just recently. This was reportedly confirmed by a source close to both parties. There was no drama in the break-up and that it was reportedly a mutual decision.

The couple has been spotted together on dates for quite a number of times, including a double date with Chris's brother Scott Evans at Magnolia in Hollywood. Although Chris and Jenny were never seen in any public display of affection, it was obvious with the way they were with each other that they were indeed a couple. A month after they were spotted on a double date, the two openly talked about their compatibility with each other during one of the episodes of Anna Faris' podcast entitled "Unqualified." During their guesting, Jenny said how she was first nervous about hanging out with Chris but then changed her mind once she got to know him. Chris also felt the same way and they instantly clicked, however, did not last long.

Despite the break-up, Chris Evans will surely be on a search for his partner in life. He initially said in an interview before that he is already looking forward to settling down with someone someday; a wife, some kids and a lovely home. It might not have been Jenny to fill that void in her life, he is determined to still meet someone someday when the time is right.
