Fifty Shades Darker Actress Dakota Johnson Spills More Details About the Sex Scenes

Fifty Shades Darker actress Dakota Johnson reveals more details about her sex scenes with co-star Jamie Dornan. Johnson and Dornan play as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.

The 27-year old actress rose to popularity after portraying the role from one of the best-selling books written by E.L. James. The erotic theme of the novel requires the stars to do intimate and revealing scenes.

"It's Not That Easy"

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson revealed that Fifty Shades Darker has more sex scenes than the first movie. The lead star said that filming them was not easy.

"For this one, it was specifically difficult because there are a lot of them and you want to make them different from each other. They have a large part in furthering the story so it's a tricky combination of things to make it happen."

Furthermore, director James Foley, who directed both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed also concurred that helming the intimate scenes was quite hard than what he had done before.

However, Foley explained that working with Dornan and Johnson made it easier. Being together as co-workers for quite some time makes the filming more comfortable, though.

"But in this case because of how important they are to the movie [they were even more pivotal]," Foley said. "Jamie and Dakota had known each other from before and they had a really sweet relationship where they totally had each other's back, were a unit and had a lot of humor between the two of them, which was very important." 

Aside from Dornan and Johnson, the movie also stars Kim Basinger as Mrs. Robinson/ Elena Lincoln and Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams. They will portray important roles in the erotic sequel.
