The fifth generation of the most familiar of the range presents a renewed image, with a weight loss of up to 100 kilos and some assistance systems that remind one of those used by the brand in the last presentation.
The BMW 5 Series Touring will offer two petrol engines and two diesel, with four and six cylinders. The 530i, a four-cylinder 252 horsepower with 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission will reach 250 km / h, signing a 0-100 km / h in 6.5 seconds. It is important to emphasize that the BMW 5 Series Touring has grown from its predecessor. Its new chassis will reach 4.94 meters in length, which is wider (1.86 meters) and grows 10 millimeters in height to settle at 149 centimeters. All this does not have many repercussions in the cabin because it only grows 7 millimeters in the wheelbase, according to Top Gear.
Even so, BMW says there will be more room for legs, head, and shoulders, which will increase comfort. With respect to the trunk of the Touring, will have a respectable capacity of 570 liters. The gate will be electric as standard.
