‘Winds of Winter' News & Update: George RR Martin’s Not Pressured To Write ‘A Song of Fire and Ice’ Sequel

Many have waited for a long time for the sequel to "A Song of Fire and Ice" to be release, but that has always been a predicament. There are inclinations coming out that "Winds of Winter" will reign by 2017.

The long wait for the sequel to "A Song of Fire and Ice" is still ongoing and yet the author of "Winds of Winter," George RR Martin is not bothered by the demands nor the pressure from the fans and followers of the epic storyline of the "Game of Thrones."

Although the demands are on the surge, George RR Martin remains calm on the matter and wants to retain the notion of keeping his own pace. On the other hand, there are notions coming out that the sequel for "Winds of Winter," is fated to occur by 2017, but that remains unconfirmed.

According to ASZ, given the demands for its release, it is understandable why many have been longing for it in the stalls, but the hiatus has proven to be marking more waiting years for the fans and followers of "Winds of Winter."

George R. R. Martin will finish "Winds of Winter" when he's good and ready, whenever that is and on the plus side, George has no planned appearances before the end of April, giving him plenty of time to work on the book, as noted by the same post.

More report from iDigital Times mentioned that the delay of "Winds of Winter" is surging, but it's not anything wildly out of the ordinary for the series because every book in "A Song of Ice and Fire" has been a long wait, at least since the Storm of Swords release date.
