Song Hye Kyo Comforts Emotional Song Joong Ki; ‘Descendants of the Sun’ Stars Sparked Dating Rumors Again After 2016 KBS Drama Awards

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo shared sweet moments together in the recently-concluded 2016 KBS Drama Awards. The "Descendants of the Sun" stars were spotted getting cozy while enjoying each other's company at the said event.

Soompi shared that Song Hye Kyo was seen comforting Song Joong Ki after host Jun Hyun Moo teased Song Joong Ki for crying during Park Bo Gum's acceptance speech.  The "Descendants of the Sun" actor got teary when his close pal thanked him for all his guidance and support.

"When I was working on 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' I felt like I was very lacking. But I'm grateful to Song Joong Ki, who gave me advice every time," Park Bo Gum has stated after receiving one of the two Male Top Excellence Awards.  Song Hye Kyo was then seen tapping her "Descendants of the Sun" leading man's shoulder as he wipes his tears away.

Later that night, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo shared the stage together as they accepted the Grand Prize (Daesang) Award for their exemplary performances in the "Descendants of the Sun" series. "The Innocent Man" actor then grabbed the microphone to say his thank you speech and made a cute shoutout to Park Bo Gum who made him cry at that time.

The gestures of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo towards each other during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards have convinced fans that there is something romantic happening between them. As a matter of fact, avid followers of the "Descendants of the Sun" stars have been speculating that the two are really into each other.

However, The Inquisitr suggest that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo could possibly be just close to one another and the public are just giving malice to their sweetness towards each other. Up until now, neither of the "Descendants of the Sun" stars have confirmed these dating rumors.
