Country pop singer Carrie Underwood just previewed a new single today. The song, which was titled "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted," is the second promotional single from her upcoming album "Storyteller" as reported by Rolling Stone.

Carrie Underwood's new single is a sweet, intimate track dedicated to her 7-month-old son Isaiah and her husband Canadian ice hockey player Mike Fisher. She co-wrote "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" with songwriters Brett James and Hillary Fisher.

The lyrics in the chorus part of Carrie Underwood's new single are written as follows: "I finally found/What I never knew I always wanted/I couldn't see/I was blind 'til my eyes were opened/I didn't know there was a hole/Something missing in my soul/'Til you filled it up/With your love, yeah."

Underwood, 32, gave birth to her son Isaiah on Feb. 27 this year. The "American Idol" Season 4 winner revealed that she and her husband have discussed that they want their son to "have a loving heart toward people who are different" according to an interview with People.

She states: "Mike and I talk about teaching him how to approach everybody in a loving way, even if they're not the same, and to try to say, 'You know what? God loves them, so it should be my job to do my best to love them as well.'"

Carrie Underwood rose to fame in 2005 after winning the 4th season of reality singing competition "American Idol." She soon released her debut album "Some Hearts" in the same year, making it the best-selling country album of the last ten years. She won a total of 7 Grammy Awards in the duration of her musical career.

"What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" is the final track of her newest album "Storyteller," which will be in stores this Friday, Oct. 23.
