Kim So Eun on her Reunion with Song Jae Rim on ‘Our Gab Soon’
In a recent interview with 'The Star', Kim So Eun talked about her reunion with Song Jae Rim, her on-screen husband on 'We Got Married'.
Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim were once a part of the reality variety show 'We Got Married'. Now after more than a year, the couple reunited in an SBS' drama, 'Our Gab Soon'.
"I met him after a long time but there wasn't any awkwardness," Kim So Eun said when asked about her reunion with Song Jae Rim.
"He felt like a very comfortable friend. Just like Gab Soon and Gab Dol in the drama. Like a friend of 10 years, it feels good to meet him even if it's just once a year," the actress added.
Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim guested on the fourth season of 'We Got Married". They were on episodes 238 to 275. Their pairing gained a huge following. They were even branded by fans as the "LTE couple" since they were pretty fast with their skinship even during the earlier part of their "marriage". The couple even won the 'Best Couple Award' at the MBC Entertainment Awards on 2014.
Fans were saddened when it was announced that the couple were already leaving 'WGM'. They felt like it is too soon for the couple to leave the show. The K-Drama gods must have heard their prayers because after more than a year, it was announced that their favorite 'WGM' couple are to be reunited in a drama.
'Our Gab Soon', Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim's ongoing drama on SBS, depicts the life of married couples. It aired its 1st episode on August 27, 2016, and is expected to have a total of 50 episodes.
