On a recent roundtable interview with T-ara, Soyeon's scandal was brought up.

Soyeon was recently rumored to be dating Japanese wakeboarding pro athlete Shota Tezuka two months after the singer's breakup with her boyfriend for 6 years, Oh Jung Hyuk. According to the reports, the two met while wakeboarding. Tezuka was also said to be providing Soyeon emotional support following her recent breakup. That's how all these Soyeon's scandal rumors started to round the net.

On September 1, MBK Entertainment released a statement denying Soyeon's scandal with the wakeboarder. The agency said that Soyeon is not dating Tezuka. The two had been friends for 3 years now and although they've become closer recently, they are not dating yet, said the agency.

Now after two months since that Soyeon's scandal rumor broke out, the singer had finally got the chance to address the issue herself. During a recent interview with T-ara to promote their comeback track 'TIAMO', Soyeon denied the rumor herself, saying that she was 'falsely reported'.

"We did not admit to dating. It was falsely reported. I don't have a boyfriend right now. We don't have any dating restrictions, and I'm not the type to hide things. It's exactly as the label stated before," said the actress, completely denying the rumor.

Although Soyeon denied the whole thing, the singer was also hinting that she is still friends with Tezuka. "He's an athlete, so he travels all over and is very busy, which means we don't have time to hang out. We do keep in touch. I'm thinking over things. I'm the type to think about going into a relationship for a long time before I do", she added.

Soyeon's scandal with the Japanese wakeboarder may not be true but the fact that the singer admits that they still communicate and that she's carefully considering things between the two of them, it could mean that she is not completely closing the door against Tezuka.

Meanwhile, T-ara's comeback track 'TIAMO' will be released this November 9.
