BTS Reaches 3M Followers on V App, Makes 10M Milestone Promise
Bangtan Boys, or more commonly known as BTS, has become the first group on Naver's V App to have three million followers and to commemorate such milestone, the group hosted a live show on September 22, Soompi reported.
The report stated that during the show, BTS members chat with their fans while eating dinner together. J-Hope sang a congratulatory song and the members clapped along. Afterward, they thanked their fans for showing them so much love. The youngest member, Jungkook, asked the members if they were not going to perform in celebration of the three million followers milestone. J-Hope then nominated V.
Jungkook then said that V looked like Hyun Bin in his tracksuit from the drama series "Secret Garden." In response, V did sit ups in his chair, reminiscent of Hyun Bin's famous scene in the said drama. V then suggested that the other members should do aegyo, except for Rap Monster and J-Hope, whom he said should sing and just "sit there looking cool," respectively.
The BTS members then got excited as they try to think of an event that they can vow to do for the fans once they reach the 10 million followers milestone. Jimin suggested, "Let us not wear clothes for five days." Jungkook added, "Let us take off our clothes and dance in Garosu-Gil for a week." However, the other members immediately rejected the idea and leader Rap Monster pointed out that it would be illegal. Jin joked, "ARMY would be so sad if we got arrested."
J-Hope then looked at the youngest member and suggested he compose a new song to celebrate. Jin then added, "One that you have written and composed yourself." The maknae tried to resist the idea but Rap Monster turned to the camera and exclaimed, "Everyone, if we reach 10 million followers, Jungkook is going to write, compose, edit, and do everything involved to make a completely new song!"
Everyone liked the leader's comments and Jin joked, "Army's going to start making seven or eight accounts each at this rate."
BTS is presently preparing to make a comeback with their second full album entitled "WINGS" soon.
