South Korean Bodybuilder Trends Online As ‘Asian Arnold Schwarzenegger’ and ‘Korean Hulk’

A South Korean bodybuilder trends online for his outrageous body and named as "Asian Arnold Schwarzenegger" and "Korean Hulk".

An inspiring story of Hwang Chul Soon touched the heart of many netizens around the world because behind of his good physique hides his interesting story on how he achieved that kind of body.

Before attaining his current body physique, Hwang has a skinny and lean body before so people are calling him "scrawny" and saying disrespectful things about him.

"When I turned 20 I had a very thin body and weighed only 57kg (125lb. I was treated with disrespect. People looked down at me in situations like if I was returning goods to a store, or helping someone or speaking to strangers," Hwang said.

Because of the negative criticisms he got from those people, Hwang decided to change his lifestyle and way of living. He began attending the gym to develop his muscles, he regularly doing exercise and following a strict routine, he started eating a high protein diet which includes brown rice, bananas, and food supplements.

Currently, Hwang has already reached 12 years in the continuous routine he had done every day in his life. The 33 year old bodybuilder now weighs 220lbs with his muscular body and perfect toned physique.

"Now that I am much bigger, people treat me with more respect. They call me the "Asian Sensation", "Asian Pride", "Asian Arnold" and even "Korean Hulk", Hwang said.

Hwang Chul Soon also said that "long term exercise plan" is more effective than taking steroids when it comes to the field of body building.

"Using steroids probably helps you build bigger and stronger muscles but it doesn't help you to balance your shape especially for those who have weak physiques. I think you get much better results if you work out using a long-term plan rather than just using steroids," Hwang said.

"I used to do sit-ups 3,000 times every day. Now since studying more about bodybuilding I spend less time doing sit-ups and more time eating properly," Hwang told Barcroft.

The 5'9 feet body builder has already won numerous awards and competitions worldwide. On his official Instagram account, Hwang has shared photos of his achievements and he already gained about 350,000 followers.
