The Queen of Korean Hip-hop ‘Yoon Mi-rae’ Releases New Single

"The Queen of Korean hip-hop," Yoon Mi-rae will release a new track in collaboration with the Asian-American hip-hop group, Far East Movement.

According to Feel Ghood Music, Yoo's agency, she will drop the new single entitled "Wait Baby" at 12 a.m. on Tuesday.

Natasha Shanta Reid in real life or better known as Yoon Mi-rae, is an American-born singer and rapper in South Korea. She is currently a member of MFBTY, a Korean Hip-hop group. She is considered to be one of the best female rappers of all time in Korea.

In 2001, Yoon debuted under the moniker T as a solo artist. She released her very first album entitled "As Time Goes By" and her second album "Gemini." The following year, her third album "To My Love" was also released.

Yoon Mi-rae and Far East Movement's good friendship led them to work together according to the agency. In 2010, Far East Movement is popular in the American music market and is known as the first Asian artists to step on the number one spot of the Billboard Hot 100 with its debut single "Like a G6".

"Wait Baby" is Yoo's first song after the release of her previous album entitled "This Love" in December 2015. Her new single was produced by foreign artists such as Redman and Konrad OldMoney who are popular in the music industry of US. In 2011, they collaborated with Yoon on the track entitled "Get It In."

"Many eminent artists joined in the production since it is Yoon's long awaited return. They have done their best to show a new side of her," the label said.

Yoon already gained popularity and made big hits with her popular single "Always," which is a track for the popular drama series "Descendants of the Sun" which was aired at KBS2 channel and "Because of You" on the digital streaming channel of SM Entertainment named "Station."
