tvN’s New Korean Drama 'The K2' Starring Ji Chang Wook and Yoona Releases Trailer Videos

tvN's newest korean drama entitled "The K2" has been the trending topic of many netizens in South Korea due to the release of trailer videos and indicates that the premiere date for the drama is near.

The "K2" was produced by tvN which is one of the most popular entertainment networks in South Korea. The new drama promises to the viewers that it will have an exciting and thrilling storyline for tvN's Friday-Saturday timeslot.

"The K2" Korean drama features actors Ji Chang Wook and Yoona. Ji Chang Wook Ji began his career as a struggling actor in a musical theatre. He officially debuted as an actor in the 2008 film "Sleeping Beauty." He rose to fame in his lead role of Dong-hae in drama series Smile Again (2010-2011), followed by his notable roles in Warrior Baek Dong-soo (2011), Empress Ki (2013-2014), and most recently, the Healer (2014-2015).

Girls' Generation's Yoona, who ventured into acting with her previous dramas Prime Minister and I, and Love Rain in KBS2. Moreover, Yoona has already traveled to Spain to film for the drama last September 2.

The K2 is directed by Kwak Jung-hwan and the story plot is about the romance and revenge between the bastard daughter of a powerful politician and the betrayed bodyguard who works for the politician's wife.

The story rotates around the life of Kim Je-Ha (Ji Chang-Wook) who is former solider for hire and he is also called K2. He is hired as a bodyguard by Choi Yoo-Jin (Song Yoon-A, who is the wife of a presidential candidate (Cho Seong-Ha) and the daughter from a chaebol family. Meanwhile, Ko An-Na (Yoona) is the secret daughter of the presidential hopeful and a recluse. The story continues as the characters meet their paths.

Furthermore, the new drama "The K2" will be airing on September 23 at tvN.
